A memorable birthday lunch…

I had a very special and memorable birthday lunch. It was a Saturday and I had a Phd masterclass at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and there was this incredible gathering of people, between high profile composers, performers, electronic music scientists, interactive artists and my PhD colleagues…

From left to right, Flo Menezes, maximalist contemporary music composer, André Perrota, technical director of composition, Henrique Portovedo, avant-garde saxofonist e musicologist, Antonio Sousa Dias, composer, media artist, and academic, Samuel Van Ransbeeck, sonification and datification composer, Sofia Lourenço, currently one on the best performing pianists in Portugal, Jean Claude Risset, a pioneer and giant in computer music, myself in between, and Peter Beyls, one of the pioneering algorists in interactive art!
